As Overcomers, we agree that as we have opportunity, we shall do good to all men. We will strive to win our kindred and acquaintances to our LORD and Savior, and to spread the Gospel into every nation. We encourage all men to:
Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Isaiah 55:6-7
Our Belief
We believe in One GOD. We believe God is a Spirit and Jesus Christ is God and none other beside him. We believe in being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. We believe in Divine Healing and laying on of hands and anointing with oil. We believe in receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and in the second coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Doctrine
We believe in the true Apostolic Doctrine according to Acts 2:37-38 (Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.); We believe Jesus is the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and all are One. We recognize and acknowledge our Lord Jesus Christ as the Supreme Head and rightful Governor of the Overcoming Church of God in all its various departments and His unerring Word as the guide for our council and as our only rule of faith and practice.
